Learning Portuguese – levels

To learn Portuguese one begins from as little as “Bom dia, o meu nome é…”* and level after level one progresses in the knowledge of the language, be it writing, reading, listening or speaking.  Portuguesmente Portuguese language courses are organized according to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:

Portuguese Basic Speaker

A0 – [30 Lessons]

Objectives: at the end the learner should be capable of understanding very basic vocabulary of Portuguese, ask simple questions in a learned holiday context.

A1 [35+35 Lessons ]+ A2  [35+35 Lessons ]
Objectives: At the end the learner should be able to understand basic general information and express himself in familiar contexts.
Diploma:CIPL

Independent Speaker

B1 [30+30 Lessons ]+ B2 [30+30 Lessons ]
Objectives: At the end the learner should be able not only to understand but also interact appropriately in several familiar and learned contexts.
Diplomas: DEPLE (at the end of B1), DIPLE (at the end of B2)

Portuguese Proficient Speaker

C1 [30+30 Lessons ]+ C2 [30+30 Lessons ]
Objectives: At the end the learner should be able to interact in several different contexts learned or not in an appropriate and confident way.
Diplomas: DAPLE (at the end of C1), DUPLE (at the end of C2)
